Yikes. Cain's judgement is profoundly bad. Kissinger is a monster. This comes after the news that Cain and Kissinger had a private breakfast meeting. (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?327876-AP-Cain-had-breakfast-with-Henry-Kissinger) If that was a joke, it was not funny.
Cain asked Kissinger to be Secretary of State (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/68401.html)
"Dr. Kissinger turned my offer down to be secretary of state. He said he’s perfectly happy doing what he’s doing," Cain said, when asked what kind of people he'd like to have in his administration.
"Military men are 'dumb, stupid animals to be used' as pawns for foreign policy."
-- Henry Kissinger, quoted in the book The Final Days (http://www.amazon.com/Final-Days-Bob-Woodward/dp/0671894404/)
"Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries."
-- Henry Kissinger, National Security Memo 200, dated April 24, 1974
"The elderly are useless eaters."
-- Henry Kissinger, quoted in the book The Final Days (http://www.amazon.com/Final-Days-Bob-Woodward/dp/0671894404/)
“World population needs to be decreased by 50%”
-- Henry Kissinger
"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government."
-- Henry Kissinger, speaking at Evian, France, May 21, 1992 Bilderburg meeting. Unbeknownst to Kissinger, his speech was taped by a Swiss delegate to the meeting.
"Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac."
-- Henry Kissinger, quoted in the book The Final Days (http://www.amazon.com/Final-Days-Bob-Woodward/dp/0671894404/)
"I don't see why we need to stand by and watch a country go communist due to the irresponsibility of its people. The issues are much too important for the Chilean voters to be left to decide for themselves."
-- Henry Kissinger, 1973, about Chile prior to the CIA overthrow of the democratically elected government of socialist President Salvadore Allende
"The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer."
-- Henry Kissinger, New York Times, Oct. 28, 1973
