Worth mentioning the douchey way they framed it:
Ron Paul doesn't have much of a chance at the nomination, but he ties Gingrich for 2nd closest to Obama honors, also trailing by 6 points at 47-41. Paul does have one thing to hang his hat on- he is the only one of the Republicans who leads Obama with independents, 48-39. The problem for him is that independents like him better than Republican voters do, which won't take him very far in the nomination fight.

PPP are absolute douche bags when it comes to reporting on Ron Paul. How does a polling firm expect to be respected when they inject their bias so often. Totally unprofessional.

But they can't miss the fact that Independents win elections and Ron Paul has them on his side.

How the GOP expects to beat Obama without the Independent vote is beyond me, it's fairly simple math.

Fact: There are more Independents than Republicans and Democrats combined. Whether they choose to vote is another thing.. But to dismiss them as trivial is pretty rediculous.

I can't handle many more paragraphs beginning with "Ron Paul doesn't have much of a chance at the nomination, but _______"
Jesus tap-dancing Christ! How far does that go?
"Paul doesn't stand much of a chance at the Presidency, but he does have one to hang his hat on: He won the GOP nomination by the widest margin in modern history."
