The Freethinker

So, after 11 years at one of the TBTF banks, I've left for TD Bank.
I researched credit unions too, but was pleased w/ TD Bank's offerings, including the many branches near both work and residence and their extended hours.
It felt weird to leave that bank - I'll admit it has a better, sleeker online service than TD Bank does - and while my bank accounts weren't huge, it still felt good to act upon what I believe and withdraw my money from a behemoth who got taxpayer money.
This website (http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2011/11/big-banks-plead-with-customers-not-to-move-their-money.html), however, shows stories of people with more and/or fatter bank accounts whose former banks' staff were not that pleasant when it came time for them to take their money out and close their accounts.
