I think a big reason why Republican's don't like Ron Paul is because they don't think his supporters are Republicans. However, if you register Republican and you vote for a Republican, face it! you're a Republican!

We shouldn't hide from this, let's embrace it! Let's rebrand ourselves as "Ron Paul Republicans" and repeat that everywhere we go and to everyone we meet!

Why do I continue to have to identify with a party? I am probably somewhere between Green and Democrat. I support Paul because he is not in the mold of the Repubigant party. If he was a Republican in the mold of the other xenophobe, homophobic, war mongers, I wouldn't support him.

I completely agree, and I realized this shortly after joining the Republican party a month ago. At first I was only doing it for a short term with intentions to go back to unaffiliated. Now I intend to stay as a Republican. Once upon a time they stood for what I believed in. As long as people like RP remain in the party and try to go back to their roots, I will stay within the party and work on making that happen.
