Soooo? How did it go?

Easy. Chatted with a few people, not about a specific candidate tho. One guy who was running it leans libertarian (according to him) and the other guy and I seemed to be on the same wavelength....we chatted about our local Congresswoman. He was wearing a Tea Party Patriots sticker.

Me and the wife went...didn't really talk to anyone outside of pleasantries.

When we first pulled up it looked closed because they were repaving the lot.
Peeps had to pull around back.

Hopefully, we didn't lose votes

The place where I voted was 'open' until 9pm. The results have some weight too because you had to be a registered voter.

Go Paul!

Well unfortunately we did lose 1. I went by the St Peters location before work and the parking lot was blocked off, no cars around and no signs so I figured it was closed or they gave out the wrong address. Im going to feel real bad if Ron loses by 1 vote :(

Recently moved to Missouri and I'm curious as to the RP support here. I just have bad memories from 08 reading about the MO GOP rejecting RP delegates. Hopefully things have changed.

is 470 votes good?

Hmm hopefully springfield pulls the numbers upward. I was in the meetup group in '08 down there but there weren't many supporters. Even at MO State it was difficult finding people who supported Ron.

I dunno, I actually went there from AR to hear Ron speak last campaign and there were a LOT of people there..tons! Of course, they may have been out of state like I, but heck--he SPOKE there, and we all took pictures with him, etc.

results of the Springfield Straw Polling location ONLY :
Ron Paul 27 votes

this is a huge win for ron paul since cain is dead in the water and will fall. This puts us in strong 2nd and really strong first when you look at cain falling. Good Straw Poll win in my eyes!! cain is dead in the water.
