no.

The VP must be eligible to take over the Presidency. Bill Clinton is not due to term limits. George Bush senior would be eligible however as he only served one term as President.

He's been running things since '81 anyway.

Geez, I can't believe what I'm reading in that washington post article. What a way to totally contort the words of our constitution to mean whatever you want! I can't stand it when people do that. It almost seems like satire!

Another stupid question, can Gore be VP again? I would think it would make sense to bring back that Clinton/Gore political brand so she can be a neocon to appear as a moderate while at the same time rally the democratic base.

Yeah and they could just reuse all the signs from previous campaigns. A truly green campaign.
