Good Lord...Sadly, people will still vote for Cain

Brutal: Cain blanks on Libya, supports collective bargaining for public employee unions
posted at 5:29 pm on November 14, 2011 by Allahpundit

You won’t believe me until you click play but this is much worse than Perry’s brain lock at the debate last week. Perry lost his train of thought; Cain doesn’t have a train at all here, to the point where he needs confirmation from the interviewer of what Obama’s position on Libya actually was.

It is clear to me now, why TPTB figured "what the hell, let's see if we can get this guy elected". The guy pretty much admits to be an uninformed potential puppet.

I saw that the first debate,, first time I heard him speak.

He friggin' admitted that he was nothing but a rubber stamp for the guys in the back room.

Yep. Followed by Frank Luntz saying "I have NEVER seen a response from a polling field as I have from Herman Cain tonight!" after that debate. My parents were dumbfounded, and told me that was the night they finally saw the blackout for themselves and how the media manipulates things.

Rachel Maddow may be right. Herman Cain may be the greatest practical joke ever played upin the American people.

I will remember that Frank Luntz focus group for the rest of my life. I was simply stunned. I couldn't believe anyone could have thought Herman Cain did anything but horrible in that debate.

They are going to push Santorum on us after Newt flames out. After all, he is the next George Washington.

Cain was very uncomfortable in that editorial board interview and it doesn't take a body language expert to realize that. Did you see him sliding his water bottle a couple inches forward, playing with the cap, switching his seating position and adjusting his jacket? That's all beside the fact that he needed factual clarification from the interviewer about both whether public employee unions should have the right to collectively bargain, and whether he agreed with Obama on Libya. In his "Lincoln-style debate" with Newt Gingrich, we saw more evidence of this when Cain paused and told Gingrich to "go first." Cain doesn't have a good grasp of the issues, but he does have a faith in so-called experts and other higher-ups, so maybe he should be an appointee by one of the other candidates.

Reading some of the comments was amusing. They're wandering around lost, wondering which bandwagon to hop on now.

Or Not.
The guy does not impress me as competent at anything other than taking credit for the work of others.

Someone good at photoshop needs to put a snicker in the place of that water bottle with the caption "need a moment?"
