What "collapse?" The stock took a minor dip, it didn't "collapse" in 2003. 10% isn't a collapse- stocks rise and fall that much all the time, on little or no news.

A 50+% drop is a collapse (as occurred in 2007). A 10% drop is just a minor blip.

The stock was rising and falling, but trading pretty much the entire year of 2003 in the $50-60 range.

In fact, at the end of the year, it was OVER $60/share (in other words, it was worth more than what he sold it for).

The stock traded HIGHER than his sell price for the next 4 years, until the real collapse in 2007-2008.

Now, if he'd traded in 2007, before the real collapse, you'd have story, but this looks pretty insignificant.
