Listen live at the link above.

Ron Smith has been talking about Ron Paul for the past 15 minutes, dissed the mainstream media for ignoring his fund raising success, and asked callers to call in about it.

You to? I have been listening sense about the same age as he would be on when Orioles games were during the day or rained out. I am 27 now. He has been the biggest influence on my political views and those have shaped me into a big Paul supporter.

That's great!! Yep, I definitely had a major crush on Ron Smith as a girl (and man did my liberal-leaning parents think me strange because of that!) Now I'm 22, going to grad school in florida, and listening on the internet. Ron Smith rocks!

He is big in Maryland. This is the top talk station in Baltimore. They recently went to a more local focus and dumped all of the syndicated shows.

Plus, it's become the center for people dissenting from the big tax push that's going on right now.

WBAL at least used to be the main AM talk station (with rush limbaugh, orioles/ravens games, etc.) in the greater baltimore area.

For those unfamiliar with him, Ron Smith has been as consistent as Ron Paul in his stance against the Iraq war, and has in the past taken a lot of heat for it- he has called himself a paleoconservative and has in the past supported Pat Buchanan.

Ron Smith is pretty big in Maryland.

I used to be a WCBM listener, and I still am. When I can, I listen to Sean & Frank and Les Kinsolving. WBAL is way more professional and has better hosts during the day, though. These days, I find myself listening to WBAL more.
