This is pretty funny I thought...

But it also underlines just how bad it was.

Well, that was mighty sporting of him - probably the smartest thing he could do.

Good for him. Pretty much the only thing he could do at this point to get back into the graces of some of his supporters that wanted to hang themselves.

Is he even a serious candidate anymore after doing this on Letterman?

That was freakin' hilarious. And he went for it too! Yeah... he's done, but at least he'll leave on a funny note rather than a scandolous one.

Are there any serious candidates running this year besides Paul?

This definitely made him seem a bit more likeable.

Sure he's likeable. People would like to have a beer and a barbeque with him. He doesn't look Presidential or qualified though.

He resigned when he said "oops"... The shrug said it all.

I think he's actually a pretty funny guy, but we don't need another George Bush.

Notice how Letterman never looks his way or makes eye contact. I'm guessing Letterman really didn't want him on the show, but was told he had to have him on. Interesting that he was booked in 24 hours too. That tells me there are some bigwhigs at CBS that are on Perry's side.

That was one of the most stupid things I have seen. Ugh.

Okay, can we make Perry the official White house court jester. We already have a king.
