Bio:
Ron Paul married his first and only wife Carol in 1957. They have five children who are all happy and successful.

Ron Paul served as a flight surgeon for the Air Force and also the National Guard from 1963 to 1965 during the Vietnam war.

According to University of Georgia political scientist Keith Poole, Ron Paul had the most conservative voting record of any member of Congress since 1937.

As a physician, Ron Paul routinely lowered fees or worked for free with special needs cases, and refused to accept Medicaid or Medicare payments on the grounds that the programs are immoral, because people are forced to participate whether they'd like to or not.

Ron Paul and his entire family left the Episcopalian church after they adopted an official pro-choice doctrine.

The first tea party events were grassroots efforts inspired by Ron Paul. "Tea Party 2007" was a fundraiser for Ron Paul's 2008 election. Tea Party 2008 was a Boston event where Ron Paul's son Rand Paul spoke of excessive government spending. When the bank bailouts sparked widespread tea party growth, Rand Paul became the first tea party US senator while in Kentucky.

Ron Paul is widely considered to be one of the only honest politicians in congress, and possibly the only politician who lobbyists don't bother to visit because they know they won't be changing Pauls mind on any issues.

Ron Paul studies economics as a hobby. He has been influenced by Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig von Mises, Ayn Rand, Hans Sennholz, and Murray Rothbard. He considers the Austrian theory of economics to be much more accurate than Keynesian theories. The day USA president Richard Nixon closed the gold window on August 15, 1971, Ron Paul decided to enter politics, saying later, "After that day, all money would be political money rather than money of real value. I was astounded." Since that point economics policy has been Ron Paul's primary issue.

ISSUES:
The Economy:
Ron Paul proposes to slash $1 trillion from the nearly $4 trillion federal budget in the first year of his office by eliminating 5 government departments and slightly reducing others. He then proposes to follow up with a spending freeze spending for the remainder of his term in office. Ron Paul understands excessive federal government spending and national debt are destroying America's economy, that is is top priority as president.

Ron Paul proposes to shift away from the Federal Reserve Bank system where the government money system causes the system of booms and busts, and towards a local currency market where competition in currency is encouraged. Ron Paul understands that big business gets an unfair advantage mostly because of Federal Reserve Bank and proposes to put the Federal Reserve to an end.

Business:
Ron Paul pledges to veto any government bailout plans because they give big corporations an unfair advantage that crush small business growth.

Ron Paul proposes to shift away from the 100,000+ page commercial code system that destroys small business by requiring an army of lawyers to run, back to the roots of the the civil court system regulations with just a few basic rules against fraud, where small businesses can once again flourish instead of being crushed under a hundred thousand pages of crushing regulation.

Jobs:
Ron Paul understands that the American system of free enterprise is proven to produce real results and real jobs. Ron Paul understands the private sector creates productive jobs while government jobs are generally hurtful to our economy. Ron Paul understands that the free market system has been completely destroyed in America and must be restored by taking the steps highlighed above.

Abortion, Gay Marriage, Marijuana: Ron Paul rejects any ban OR legalization of abortion, gay marriage, or marijuana at the federal level because those are matters for states to decide upon, and the constitution does not authorize those issues to be dictated by the federal government.

Health Care:
Ron Paul proposes to eliminate the complex web of regulations causing the massive increase in health care prices, which as a physician he understands very well. He propses to eliminate Obamacare, understands that it is unconstiutitonal, and understands that Obamacare will bankrupt America financially and morally.

National Defense:
Ron Paul proposes to end the empire-building that spreads the USA army thin around the world. He will withraw troops to the US from over 700 overseas military bases because he understands that an over-extended military will cause the USA to collapse just like it caused the Soviet Union to collapse after the USSR waged war in Afghanistan for too long. Ron Paul understands pre-emptive war only hurts the USA and that wars should only be for defensive purposes.

Civil Rights:
Paul proposes that people must only searched with a search warrant as the USA constiutiton requires. Ron Paul has voted against the patriot act and will veto the patriot act. Ron Paul will order the TSA to stop violating people's private areas at the airports.

Ron Paul will veto any federal gun legislation because he understands the constitution is clear that that federal agencies have no more right to legislate guns as they have to legislate free speech.

Ron Paul will veto the torrent of unconstitutional laws that today's disrespectful politicians allow. Instead, he will respect the constitution and only go to war when the war is declared by congress.

This writing can serve as a template for flyers and other campaign materials. This is the 2nd revision of something I made about two weeks ago. Hopefully it will be something I'm proud of by revision #3 :)

He's spoken of her in a few of his books, but I wouldn't exactly say he was fond of her.
