I wish the Campaign would open an office in South Carolina, ignoring it is a mistake. Also this poll doesnt fully take into account the cain scandal since it began to poll people last month. Gingrich is probably rising.

About 70% of the respondents indicated that they are still undecided, and about 68% indicated that they may change their mind before election about whom they will support.

So it would seem that this poll hits on the general main-stream media audience that's been following the news, albeit the filtered and distorted news. Ron's support is VERY uneven geographically in SC, so if this was a geographically even sample, this could be the reason for the low number.

The one recent poll from SC has us in the double digits, so Ron's true support sounds incredibly difficult to sample.

I know people that go to Clemson. They're good people, but they're bible-belt "values" conservatives. They like war and they don't like gays having rights.

In my mind, I just can't equate being conservative and "liking" war in the same sentence.

If you lived here and DO NOT support Clemeson in sports - you would know that the Clemson fans are, well, an odd bunch. I know the poll is not necessarily only Clemson personnel, per se, but even the association with Clemson is suspect, IMO.

Fanatical and narrow minded...my very personal experiences.

I can't equate the teachings of Jesus Christ and 'liking' war in the same sentence.

Good point.

I don't think many of us realize that conservatives view (wrongly, IMO) the wars in the Middle East as wars against Islamo-Fascism, and therefore, self-defensive wars.

Really? No campaign office in SC. Is this true?

Only 7% cell phone. Results are skewed to certain demographics unfavorable to Ron.

Don't sweat this one too much.

Nope not true. There's been an office down there for a while.

But didn't work out too well evidently.
