Romney said Tuesday he was "delighted" with Paul's success.

"He's getting close to what I raised on our first day. ... so I am delighted that he's been able to raise what he needs to go forward, and it's only two-thirds as much or a little less than that than we raised on our first day," he said.

That is of course "delighted" means oh crap now I got to write my campaign another check for about $20 Million.

What do you think Mitt meant by "delighted"?

I love the backhanded compliments, Mitt. How about you pull out that checkbook and donate to yourself again so you can get back to that "first day," back in the halcyon days before Ron Paul entered your life.

is required, get Ron with the most donors and most money in the bank, period for the end of quarter filings. We need to double the donors list for this to happen.

Wasn't Mitt's money from pledges? How much of that turned into real money like Ron Paul's? This is what Wolf Blitzer was referring to when he asked yesterday, if it was actual cash, or something else.

You can't sense the sarcasm/arrogance in that statement? He has absolutely no respect for this campaign and that is quite obvious by what he said.

Me, my 600 wives, and our 4500 kids (all over 18) each pledge $2300, for a total of $11,732,300. Do I hear any matches?

Exactly...the remark that it's like the money he raised on his first day which is not entirely accurate...Romney got 'pledges' in addition to donations whereas yesterday was PURE CASH.

I think Mitt needs to go easy on the Dapper Dan. It's seeping into his skull. He can't tell the difference between "pledge" and "donation" or "my money" and "their money."

Isn't Willard's campaign in big time debt? Hasn't Willard spent tens of millions of dollars and only polls around 10 percent or less? I'm delighted that Willard is a tool.

This is incredible...
Somebody like Mitt could get away with lies and stupidity about things that could be checked, it is documented, but RP's one day awesome money bomb is unconfirmed and not that big of a deal after all... People fail to realize that this donations are about the will of people not corporate interest or money numbers matter in fact... How could somebody be so shameless?

Well, it is clear, we are getting no help from anybody, really... We are in this together and we are getting no breaks...

We are getting plenty of media coverage. We have multiple mentions on every cable network.

It would be nice to see this make broadcast network evening news, but I don't know what more we could hope for other than that.

Leave it to FOX to only report half of the story. Mitt only raised 3.1 million in one day, the other 3.6 were only pledges.

Ron had the most successful fund raising day in GOP history. Period.

Maybe they're out of Dapper Dan where Mitt is. He's probably using FOP which would explain his recent hair malfunction.

Yes. I think many of us agree. Romney is low class. Ron Paul would never be so condescending. I think voters will notice this.

I'm delighted Mr. Romney could strong arm close to the amount of support over the first quarter as Dr. Paul was able to inspire in one day.

He is so smarmy isn't he? And here caught lying about how much he raised in a day. (Still I suppose it's better than getting caught on camera turning his back on a guy in a wheelchair)

Notice they keep moving the goalposts? It used to be money decided things - RP now raises more in one day than any GOP candidate ever (yes, Mitt Rommel included) and they see, oh no, special interests don't cut it against real supporters... so suddenly money doesn't matter. I am 100% certain that if any other candidate was getting RP's results in the straw polls they would be instantly proclaimed the front-runner. There was much fuss made about how this was to be the first 'net dominated election. Well, guess what, depsite them blowing millions on focus groups and fancy websites, RP totally owns them in every online statistic...

So what do they have left. Of those who bothered to vote for warmongering semi-socialist Bush in 2004, 30% support Rudy. LOL. They're lashing out because they're weak and they know it.

However frustrating it is - and it is very frustrating - the consolation is that Fox and Romney will still be talking such rubbish on the day Ron Paul becomes President. And then their true nature will be obvious to everybody.
