Methinks this is not going to help Cain. It is essentially character assassination over irrelevant elements. If she were trying to sell her story, her past financial trouble would be relevant and if people think she's in it for the money, it might be (although she said she is not filing a claim and is not open to selling her story.) But the 'civil cases' given she was the one sued, not suing, seem kinda farfetched to me. (and may actually explain the bankruptcy part) I guess if you are a Cain supporter it gives you something to cling to, but supporters that tied to him aren't going anywhere, anyhow. I think it hurts with undecided along the lines of "if that's the best response he has...." But that's just my opinion. I think he might have done better for himself to just issue a denial and be above it all. Thoughts?

She's not even suing him. I think it's really dumb to try and paint her like this.

Same stuff on the conservative blogs. "She's from Chicago and filed for bankruptcy!" Weak sauce from Cain and his flying monkeys.

Mr. Cain is truly someone without integrity.

Also, why fire back on accuser number three? What happened to accusers one and two?

These financial troubles, some of them seem to have been in the 90s when this all went down. If anything, it makes Cain look even sleazier for trying to extort sex out of her for a job when she was trying to fend off a bankruptcy.

and worked for nine employers over the last 17 years.

Or he just thinks that businesses should own their employees.

My pappy taught me to never stay at a job where I wasn't learning or advancing.

Or that sometimes you just have bad luck...I've been laid off three times in five years.

What a jerk move by Cain.

Also, why fire back on accuser number three? What happened to accusers one and two?She is the only who came forward. This type of maneuver is usually a warning to anyone else who may be thinking of doing the same.

So stupid that they're attacking her credibility with this crap without even providing any specific refutations. Okay she lied...which statements were the lies? Which ones shouldn't we believe? Just tell your side.

Good advice.

Also, if you don't get along with your boss for any reason, best bet is to leave.

I am not quite in the same boat, but come on, how many "jobs" has he had in the past 17 years. Lets see, ran for senator, ran for prez in 2000, ran for congress, worked for pillsbury, worked for a pizza joint, did speaking engagements, worked for a radio station, etc etc

what a dumbo

BTW, the "new" defensive by Rush was that "where were these women in 2004 when he ran for office?" Just more of a smokescreen. I think Im feeling a clinton moment

I wonder if someone could go over Cain's resume and see how many different employers HE had over a period of the last 20 years. I bet it's more than nine.

NINE-NINE-NINE, maybe, but definitely more than nine.

Romney just said this is a bad move. He wouldn't have said anything if it mattered.

76% of the GOP didn't support Herman Cain before this. I don't think sexual scandals is a reason to support anyone.

There are likely lot more out there as he has demonstrated this is not isolated behavior by him. He is a serial sexual harasser. My bet its more than 9.
