He is still #1 in the polls. He has quite a lot of room to fall, or backlash to take, before it comes to an exit. But when people turn away enmass the fall can accelerate as quickly as the rise.

Personally I think he needs to explain if he knows this lady and "how" he knows her. If he denies even knowing her, then its obvious he is lying. Not that I believe everything the woman says, but the politics dictating dumb statements like "I do not know or recall meeting this woman" are so damn easy to spot as false.
