Please don't email Fox because some guy said he got an email that has the STRANGEST poll requirements I've seen for a debate. They almost always do debates by payment.

But...you never know. All that I ask is that your wait until it's CONFIRMED.

Please heed this advice. Ron Paul people have gone off before based only on rumors and made all of us look stupid as a result. Certainly prepare to respond, but don't do so until it's confirmed.

Yes, let's lay low until we actually know what's going on. We already have a bad reputation for jumping to conclusions so we should get the facts first. Then we open a can. :)

Debate invitation is usually based on standing in the polls.

Debate invitation is usually based on standing in the polls.

If that was the case Ron Paul would never get invited...

What if it's too late by then?

I think its based on money raised, not poll position. Money buys airtime and having over 10 million in the bank when other candidates are in the red can make a 20 point poll deficit with 5% margin of error disappear within a month.

To use polling would mean they are purposly and deliberatly excluding new republicans to decide what opinions they want to hear. Money, short of actual votes, is the only true indicator of real support.

Can we find people from FOX saying that money is what matters? I think it would make a nice YouTube video to show a bunch of people saying Ron Paul doesnt matter because he doesnt have the money and that money is what matters. Now that he has the money, they can spew about how polls are what matter - cut to straw poll victories. Trapped by their own words.

Disagree!

It would be TOO LATE. They won't change the decision AFTER they made it.
