Talk about dumbed down - Junk writer Alexander Burns (http://www.politico.com/reporters/AlexanderBurns.html) is a Harvard Graduate for cryin-out-loud... sheesh.

Alexander Burns joined POLITICO at the start of the 2008 general election campaign, just days after Hillary Clinton’s withdrawal from the race and a few weeks before Phil Gramm’s “nation of whiners” comment. After contributing to POLITICO’s campaign reporting, Burns covered the race for chairman of the Republican National Committee that ended with the election of Michael Steele.

A graduate of Harvard College, where he edited the Harvard Political Review, Burns has appeared as a political analyst on television and radio shows including Fox News Channel’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren,” the CBS “Early Show” and Bill O’Reilly’s “Radio Factor.” In addition to POLITICO, his work has appeared in National Journal and American Heritage magazine.

Good. I'd rather have ron continue his run rather than write another book. He shouldn't be a pawn to the GOP. Party does not matter.

This is from the same interview where he said he has no plans to, doesn't think it makes sense to even think about it, much less plan it, and doesn't want to. They say 'Oh, then there's still a chance!!' from that.

Ron refuses to completely rule it out. Would they stop with this if he did? I doubt it.

"So there's a chance!" :)

Flogging the equally dead horse, my response on Facebook.

Chris Wallace interview -
“I have no intention doing that. That doesn’t make sense to me to even think about it, let alone plan to do that,” Paul said.

When asked why, Paul responded: “Because I don’t want to do it. That’s the reason.”

Politico headline: "Ron Paul won't rule out independent 2012 presidential run"

Honestly folks, he's not interested in it, he's keeps saying so, the logistics of doing so would likely prevent it even if that were not the case. Let it go, Ron Paul is a Republican whether you (or I) want him to be or not.
