Good call, but it probably makes more sense in the grassroots section--and copied in the NY subforum!

Better yet. Stay away. And give that amount of money to the campaign. Straw polls don't get coverage and they only impress us. Don't we ever learn? We're building a party and filling its coffers so it can screw us over later.

The only straw poll that meant anything was the Iowa straw poll and we blew that one. Now, we need to ignore these fundraising whorathons for the necrotizing Republican establishment and knock on the doors of real people to get their support.

Sorry disagree.

We have won two straw polls here with rates of return on cost being 10x or so.

The only reason the media hasn't been taking them seriously is because Ron is winning them. The moment he stops performing well, they will use it against us.

Make sure we continue to get 1st place.

we have to make sure to win every straw poll. It's very important. Right now the number one question asked to Ron Paul is, "can you translate your online support into votes?"

This isn't a question the american people want to know, its the question the media pundits and political analysts want to know.

Straw polls are the only real life assurance that we can. They also make for great practice for the meetup groups in the areas to work on their organizational skills before the big primaries.

I'm sick of pessimism and URGING people to do nothing. If it helps work on this mindset. WIN EVERYTHING FOR RON PAUL! MEET EVERY GOAL. EXCEED EVERY EXPECTATION. <-hell i may just put that in my signature. :)
