Cops were called out to check on her, (turns out her ex was a state cop) at midnight.
They found her dead body at 10:15 am.

GULFPORT -- A court document shows that hours before Stacey Wright was found dead at her D’Iberville apartment Sept. 18, a cell-phone call with her daughter was disconnected after a man’s voice in the background told Wright to put the phone down and drive.
D’Iberville police believe the man was Ruben Orlando Benitez, accused of stabbing Wright while spending the weekend with her at Landmark Apartments. Wright was found dead inside her new apartment on Lamey Bridge Road, where she had moved after receiving a job promotion with the Transportation Security Administration.
Benitez, who was a top-ranking TSA official in Jackson, is accused of her murder. Investigators believe Wright was estranged from her husband and had a romantic relationship with Benitez, who allegedly killed her during an argument, according to a court document.
Benitez was brought before a judge at the Harrison County jail Wednesday, but did not request a preliminary hearing on the evidence, said Herman Cox, Harrison County prosecuting attorney.
Instead, his attorney argued a motion for a bond reduction.
Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain, who had previously set bond at $3 million, denied the request.
“Police said the defendant confessed twice to the stabbing,” Cox said.
The case file will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office to be presented to a grand jury, said Cox.
Benitez, 45, and Wright, 43, had worked together for TSA at the Jackson-Evers International Airport, where Benitez was the assistant federal security director for screening in Mississippi.
Wright had recently been promoted to supervisory transportation security officer at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.
A criminal affidavit shows police were sent to the apartment complex to check on Wright eight minutes after midnight that Sunday, but they didn’t know which apartment was hers. A police officer and an apartment-complex security officer located the apartment at 10:15 a.m. They found the door unlocked and Wright inside, dead on the floor.
Authorities said she had been stabbed multiple times. Police arrested Benitez two days later.
