You all are incredible people!!!! How you kept this forum going yesterday under that onslaught I will never know.

I do know this. You all KNOW YOUR STUFF with computers. This board was POUNDED yesterday and didnt even seem to hiccup;)

Two VERY BIG thumbs up in appreciation for all that you do for this country! True patriots.

They had to connect the servers to treadmills to keep plugging them with a boost of power!

Bump...PLEEEEZZZ give the RP forum folks some lovin for keeping this machine running during the pounding yesterday!

Remember when....it used to crash with a couple hundred people?? This site took thousands yesterday and kept on ticking......

Worth a round of applause in my book because I am not sure where my wife and I would go to express the sheer JOY of these moments. Memorable, because we can all SHARE them.

Just my .02

I'll admit: Credit lies solely with Josh and Bryan. I have no hand in the admin/technical side of the house.

Personally I was disappointed.

1. I was promised there would be no math. There was math.
2. I expected fresh home-made chocolate chip cookies. I received none.

Great forum, I just wish the grassroots forum was cleaned up more often to allow for increased activism without a lot of general discussion.

I think there just needs to be a spin-off grassroots activites/discussion forum right next to this one, and just change/rename this one to general ron paul discussion

Ahh, I remember the old days when the forums crashed with 100 people on during the first few debates, and while we were doing play-by-plays of rallys like the Iowa candidates forum (remember?....) and all the early media appearances (Colbert, Daily Show, ...)

Ohh, this was all just FIVE months ago. How in the world did we make it this far.

Edit- Josh and Friends are the best

Thanks everyone. Of course the forum is what is it because all the great users. :)

No, no hamsters died, but Josh and I are pretty tired swapping out floppy discs down in the basement. :D

We'll work on the cookies, can't make any promises on the math. :p

If things stay anywhere near where they are now  we can certainly benefit from something cleaner. Start a new thread with some ideas. :)

This is a good idea. :)

If "Josh and friends" would be willing to make a post on what kind of hardware/software this site is running, I'd greatly appreciate it! As long as it doesn't take away from their normal duties of course!

(I know it is VBulletin, I'd like to know what OS, any kind of caching/improvements they've made etc. I'm a nerd :) )

Will do. I've run a big forum or two in my life and might have some good ideas.

Where do you want me to put the thread? ;)
