Since I discovered Austrian economics and the Libertarian philosophy through Ron Paul during his 2008 run I have grown increasingly nerdy. I have concurrently wrestled fairly extensively with my faith and the place of politics. So I decided to start a little forum and gave it the dorky little name "ReligiticsForum" where we could dialogue, debate etc these issues where religion and politics intersect (they appear more and more to be synonymous). To kick off this little forum I arranged a debate at the local hipster coffeeshop with a group of Christian anti-capitalist- (some of them seem to believe capitalism is satan incarnate) -with the title of the debate being "The Kingdom of God and Capitalism." I was expecting around 30-40 people but my brother said there were at least 100 and was so packed people couldn't get in! It was a blast. Had alota fun doing it! My goal was to make a 35 minute primer on capitalism that any anti-capitalist (i.e. wall street occupy-ers) could watch and walk away with a legit understanding of what, actually, capitalism is. So I had a buddy record it, I edited in the powerpoint and put it on youtube. I hope during these times when it seems so hip to hate capitalism that this might be instrumental in making capitalism cool again.

Cool. But next time try to learn it by heart and speak freely instead of reading to make it more interesting to follow.
