Instead of just talking about some pie-in-the-sky dream about eliminating the income tax immediately, Ron Paul should propose his own tax reform plan. But he should set it apart from all the rest by not being revenue-neutral. Instead, he should propose replacing the current income tax with a flat 10% tax (or something around that amount). Right now income taxes bring in about $1.6 trillion. A 10% flat tax would bring in about half that. He has already proposed $1 trillion in spending cuts. So if he cut that revenue in half, he could still reduce the annual deficit significantly.

He could sell it as a "real stimulus."
