Multi-Target Photo-Radar System To Make Speeding Riskier 417

"Go easy on the gas, Speed Racer, because Cordon is on its way. Developed by Simicon, this new speed sensor promises to take highway surveillance to new heights of precision. Unlike most photo radar systems, which track only one violator at a time, Simicon's device can simultaneously identify and follow up to 32 vehicles across four lanes. Whenever a car enters its range, the Cordon will automatically generate two images: one from wide-angle view and one closeup shot of the vehicle's license plate. It's also capable of instantly measuring a car's speed and mapping its position, and can easily be synced with other databases via WiFi, 3G or WiMAX."

What I think is very dangerous about this type of mentality is that Judges and Cops both collect Fines and Fees just for Making Accusations, but when you turn around and try to use any form of Technology to Defend yourself, it is nearly immediately dismissed. How is that even a practice in what is supposed to be a Fair and Balanced System of Justice?

Now, its AF's turn to post the link of the Cop who led other Cops on a high speed chase, going like 120 MPH because he was late for work! No such thing as favoritism in the (il)Legal System my ass!

The Alex Jones show pointed out some have sucessfully fought back this tyrannical technology by appealing to state laws that stress an actual law enforcement individual must directly witness the violations, not rely on hi tech detection systems to auto-generate citations.

I was ticketed twice this past summer for a total cost of $400 and they lied about the speed I was travelling. Where I once thought this was being blown out of proportion, now I understand that ...yep...its true.
