From Jason's Facebook:

Hey Northeast, don't let the global warmup get you down, we've got Congressman Ron Paul in Monday's 5PM hour on the Jason Lewis Show

JL is a fellow libertarian so it should be a very good interview. Although Ron better be careful: Jason Lewis has been critizing him lately for playing politics with Cain's 9-9-9 plan. He said Paul is using Democrat tactics by calling it "regressive". He has also said that Paul is a hyporcite for saying this because he wants to replace over time most of the tax code with Tariffs, which Jason says is the most regressive tax of them all.

Hopefully someone will tell Ron this.

Another Cain "libertarian"? Ron should destroy him and humiliate him on air for his entire audience to hear.

No. Jason Lewis's interview of Ron Paul back in 2007 was the greatest interview of the entire campaign cycle. This should be worth tuning in for.

i listened to that show where Jason Lewis criticized Ron for calling cains plan regressive and implying that he was having a liberal stance of not wanting the lower income people to pay there fair share. This is the email i sent him,but i never got a reply back

Hello,

Im a big fan of your show but i have to say i was dissapointed by your response to Ron Pauls rebuttal of Herman Cains 9 9 9 plan. You misrepresented his position by painting him as supporting the notion that he was wanting the lower income people not to pay there fair share of taxes, but i watched his reply a couple times to see if thats what his intent was in not liking it by calling it regressive. But he called it bad because he didnt think you should even the score by raising lower income taxes but do away with all income taxes altogether. Now if you think there should be a income tax and paul is wrong on that aspect then while i may disagree ill respect your opinion, but please dont misrepresent his stance on the issue.

Always a fan of your show,

Robert

The easiest way to point out the faults of 9-9-9 is as follows: 1) Do not forget the 9% FICA payroll tax, 2) Empowerment zones in his plan discriminates against small cities, surburbs, and rural areas in favor of inner cities. 3) My plan is 15-0-0 for a 15% corporate tax, zero income tax, and zero percent Socialized Western Europe style National Sales or Value Added Tax of Herman Cain 9-9-9.

When they get back from this commercial break, he's going to get into Paul's domestic policies.

Pretty good interview. Wish he would've plugged Ron's appearance in MN this weekend a bit more.

Jason Lewis is Glenn Beck light. He'll be nice to RP to get ratings and audience, but then revert to pulling the establishment pud in the long run. This guy is an neocon cutout in a libertarian disguise. I'm guessing that he's trying to work an angle to suck himself up into Fox "News".
