Haha that is bizarre. Perry drinks a few too many cups of coffee (and maybe a beer) and gives an off the cuff speech. It's interesting--I can see why people are taken by him. He comes off as almost quirky-charming when he's not über-scripted and under pressure of a nationally televised debate. Of course we know better... he has no clue what he's talking about and is a sellout for that gold.

My god, really? The polls must all be fixed... how can a moron like that be polling as high as what he was? How can anyone take this guy serious? Looked like he snorted a few line of blow before stepping up to the podium.

Was that Will Ferrrel impersonating Rick Perry or Rick Perry impersonating Will Ferrel? Maybe he's trying to copy Cain's tactics of the bizarre.

Rick Perry must be such a fun dude to hang out and party with.

I'll really wouldn't doubt that he has some kind of addiction. To me he shows all the characteristics of an addict (from being on myself back in the day and experiencing a lot of rehabs and such). The way he lies and doesn't realize he is lying and thinks its true. Politicians do that, but Perry doesn't do it in a way he seems aware and is way to "Dude, whatever man just get off my back". I feel like if I was able to get like 5 to 10 minutes alone with him he bust down crying to me and explain how he is so over his head, can't take it, and is doing whatever he is told as long as he can do his thing (I'm going off the assumption he is addicted to something. Come on, with those Bilderberg connections he could get anything, but they would blackmail him in some form. He doesn't seem as evil to me as much as being controlled, but it seems like there is part of him that dislikes it). Honestly, I feel really bad for the guy.

All wild speculation, but its just how he comes off to me.

It kind of made me like him ...crap.

Man oh man... I'm glad I haven't donated to his campaign. What a waste that was for those who did.

Actually, it was the probably the best thing I've ever seen by him. He might be a really personable guy in real life.

If he was a smart man with libertarian principles, and he had this kind of quirky/stand-up comic type sense of humor, everyone would think he was pretty damn cool.

The main issue is that we all dislike his policies, and this type of too-much-caffeine type of presentation is incongruous with, say, the guy who waxed angry and self-righteous that Romney hired a company that hired illegals, or the guy who has trouble putting words together on a stage, like he's working completely off a script.

Ofcourse if he was a libertarian we would like him, we've made it clear that it's the message not the messenger.
