There's not a chance that I'll be able to scrape together $100 between now and Sunday to give the full bomb on Veterans' Day. However, I know how important the symbolism of Veterans' Day is, and I really want to show my support.

Therefore, for those of us who a) have yet to max out, and b) stretched themselves thin for the 11/5 money bomb, I propose that each of us who falls under that umbrella make a donation of $11.11. This will ensure that we are counted among the donors, and even if we cannot exceed the 11/5 extravaganza, we can show our support for our Veterans and the sacrifices they made in serving our country.

Thoughts?

The way this grassroots rEVOLution surpasses expectations, I'd suggest "eleven hundred" for 11/11! :)

If you can swing 111.11 or even 1111.00, so much the better. Don't let me discourage anyone from making as much of a donation as possible on 11/11.

This is just an alternative for those of us who are less than flush with cash right about now.

I would love to... but I maxed out yesterday.
It was great!

I think it's a good idea but I think $11.11 is too little...but we should get EVERYONE who donated on November 5th to do it again...that should give us a nice extra $2 million

I just read that the Final Money Bomb ... the big one ... is planned for December 16th. How appropriate the significance of that date. Back in 1773, the day of the Boston Tea Party. I encourage everyone to participate in the money bomb on the 11th in any capacity, but I strongly feel this is the one we need to rally behind and spread on the Internet. The significance in the month of December of something like this, especially on the same day as the Boston Tea Party is simply nothing short of incredible. Spread the word and remember the Boston Tea Party.

or donate $100 at 11:11.

I called the Greg NeoconKnapp show today, and went in on his waterboarding justification rant. He denied John Yoo's crushing testicle memo and I never got to promote 11-11. No worries, I be back on his tomorrow, or Savage, Hannity or Marx Levin. God bless!

Coincidentally, that's exactly the amount I first gave for the fifth. Then I proceeded to give $25 more.

$11.11 is doable for me. But we should all save it for the Final Money Bomb on December 16th.

Remember the Boston Tea Party. It's going to happen all over again. And after this one, we will have raised the most money of any GOP Candidate, including Mr. 9/11.

To get the media to really consider Ron Paul a player and to pour the water on any negative reporting about November 5th, November 11th is perfect and it may get Ron Paul another record for the most money raised in a week.

Not to mention pulling off another big one is really going to impress the media.

You betcha! Another record, this soon, would have the media falling all over themselves.

It's Verterans Day. Ya know they got alot of press for us by donating to Ron Paul over all the others. We owe them, and should show them the same respect on Veterans Day.

What better way to show your support for the troops then to support the one man who would bring them home? Please donate on 11/11

We need $1 Million on Nov. 11 or it's going to look wimpy. Don't let that happen! Don't wait until Dec. 16 - give now AND then. If it doesn't hurt, we haven't given enough. :D

Give what you can. Don't get hung up on meaningful numbers. 11.11 is great, but the most meaningful number is the most you can give without going broke!

If you can only give 1 dollar on the 11th, then do that. We need to keep the number of donors high.

Any ideas on what the record for a week is?
I have a feeling it's going to be pretty astronomical.

Some people have more money than time, and can give the $100 or more that represents formal acceptance of the challenge at www.thisnovember11th.com. Others have more time than money, and can do the valuable volunteer work that doesn't get tallied on the board but makes an enormous difference. It is all a part of the division of labor on the free market.

I think anyone tapped out from November 5 or just generally in need of counting pennies should do something as a gesture of solidarity with the fundraising, and $11.11 is a great idea, as was the $08 for 08 crowd.

As one of the people with more money than time, I have enormous appreciation for the volunteers spending their time spreading the message in a positive way about this unique opportunity in American history to speak for liberty. We each should do what our situation allows us to do best as our form of contribution to the campaign.

I agree with antboy - first post on the forums but have been a big RP fan, so hi!

Any amount no matter the size helps. I'm not going to be able to do $100 on Sunday, but $11.11 is a neat idea.

I think this is a terrific idea! It could be a terrific way to get more MSM exposure by the number of people donating. While the event might not set a record in money it might set a record by the number of donors. At $11.11 it offers us the opportunity for a very large number of Ron Paul supporters to make our voices heard by the media.

And that would be another media worth event...
"CNN reports that Ron Paul supporters have done it again... "

Kudos on the idea! This should be an affordable amount for most ($11.11).
I will do my part to get out the word and I hope others will do so as well!

I am in for $111.11.

But I think it is GREAT for people to give $11.11 if that is all they can swing right now. The number of donors also gets a lot of attention.
