Only 16 people have signed up in the past 3 hours or so. I've been promoting it on FB and Twitter, but people aren't signing up. I think the website looks too amateur. It doesn't look like something the R3volution would make. Look here: http://www.blackthisout.com/ and then look here: http://supportthemnow.com/

S (http://supportthemnow.com/)ee what I'm saying? The website needs serious work.

This "support the troops" theme is going to be a hard enough sell, without the obstacles of an old-school website. Just saying. We need to make it look a little more 21st century.

Really the wrong thread to complain about these things.

I can't imagine anyone not donating because they don't like a pledge web site.

I don't see anything wrong with it, but I know nothing about websites. I don't think most do, though.

I'm telling you I've been promoting the bomb all day. Isn't that what you asked? Anyway, I'm out for the night, this is too depressing.

We have what we have. TPTB on this forum have opted for this and we have no choice but to move forward with it.

I have said this a number of times. The theme sucked. It is lousy marketing.

No one cared for my advice, so we march on.

I think the website looks fine...

This Moneybomb probably won't be HUGE (I think the one after will be big with the hype of the primaries 'round the corner)... but Ron can use anything he can get, right?

So we used "Support them Now" instead of "Bring them Home"? I guess it's ok..."Bring them (all) Home" is more pointed and poignant whileas Support Them Now is more broad but simultaneously dilute in its message.

I would encourage people to not be afraid to use alternative marketing to get people to this moneybomb; that is, also using "Bring Them Home" or whatnot, and lead them to the page.

We need to make this equally as big as BTO, or the Media will have a field day with our "declining momentum."
