I havent seen one guy trowing a molotov coctail or coming prepared to this protests(army boots, gas mask and backpack with clothes if you need to change fast).

What do they expect from the police,to say that they are right and join the protests?

Until a few government buildings dont start burning ( NOTE PRIVATE PROPERTY) no one will pay any attention.

Iraq War Vet Critically Injured During Oakland Police Raid

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Oakland city officials are allowing Occupy Wall Street protesters back into a plaza where police raided and cleared a 15-day-old encampment, but they will continue prohibiting people from spending the night there.
Mayor Jean Quan announced the conciliatory gesture Wednesday, hours after officers in riot gear clashed with and fired tear gas at demonstrators who had tried to re-establish the disbanded camp.

Quan says Oakland supports the protesters' goals, but had to act when a small number of them threw rocks, paint and bottles at the police.

A 24-year-old Iraq War veteran was critically injured by a projectile that struck him in the head during the chaotic conflict Tuesday night.

Police Chief Howard Jordan says an internal review board and local prosecutors have been asked to determine if officers on the scene used excessive force.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Monday afternoon Mayor Jean Quan of Oakland has been put on notice that she may be facing a recall.

A petition was filed with the City Clerks' Office in the morning stating the intent to recall Quan. The petition was filed by a group of Oakland residents.

They say they're angry about Quan's failure to fight crime and to develop the city's former Army base.

I wonder if the cops would have done the same thing if the citizens were armed. Not advocating violence, but people being able to have something to defend themselves with. What gives them the right to keep attacking the citizens if they are not harming or destroying anything? That's right, nothing.
