Family Research Council is the group that puts on VVS.

Kind of weird... the one issue they disagreed about was a scholarship for DC students.

Justin Amash got 70% because he likes voting present so much: http://www.frcaction.org/get.cfm?i=PG10J04&id=5091768&s=200&d=FH

I think that was regarding vouchers for Washington D.C students. That's one issue where I disagree with Ron, because the federal government has jurisdiction over the Washington DC area, and spending money on vouchers is better than spending a bunch of money on public schools.

Incorrect. If it was just vouchers he probably would have supported it. But it actually provided scholarships, taking my money and your money to pay for kids in DC to go to private schools. Pauls' vote was correct.

I thought that vouchers were basically the same as scholarships. Either way, I believe that the federal government is in charge of funding public schools in Washington DC, since the feds have jurisdiction over Washington DC. So I would think that giving kids a scholarship to attend a private school is preferrable to throwing more money at public schools. Justin Amash voted for this bill, so there clearly isn't a consensus on this issue among libertarians.

Wait.... is this not the group whos leader said our win at their straw poll didn't count and that Paul and his supporters do not represent the core values of the VVS?

Am i thinking of the wrong group?

No, it's the same group.

Ok, so we know the guy was just mad that his candidate of choice didn't win, like we all pretty much assumed.
