Track the US Congress and your local house and senate members through GOVTRACK.US

It shows every bill introduced and discussed and even what committees are doing.

Don't rely on the media, watch for yourself.

Glad someone is doing the heavy lifting for us...I'm happy to do the occasional phone blast, but the monitoring is a full time job.

I just found it. Looks way better than OpenCongress.org. Too bad I have the worst luck receiving confirmation emails...

If you prefer mild social interaction then WashingtonWatch is better. If you just want detailed information on what our government is up to then GovTrack is better. I signed up for both anyway. You can leave comments on WashingtonWatch without signing up so that's cool.

BTW. Anyone voting against a bill on WashingtonWatch, it would be nice if you included a comment. Some bills are over 70% against but I don't really know why.
