Polifact found Ron's contention that Cain called his supporters, Fed audit backers, to be ignorant, FALSE.

my email...

You are showing yourselves to be ignorant.

He (Cain) said Fed audit backers "don’t know enough about it." (quote from article)

ig·no·rant/ˈignərənt/
Adjective:

1. Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
2. Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular: "ignorant of astronomy".

Paul: Herman Cain called Federal Reserve critics "ignorant"

Cain also called us stupid, which is what I thought RP was referring to. "Ignorant" and "Stupid" although is not quote for quote, one could argue as being fairly interchangeable. I personally find 'ignorant' less derogatory than 'stupid'; so I thought RP was being more polite than necessary.

Stupid article is stupid.

Paul never said that Cain "called" us anything.

Need a blog to mock PolitiFact by rating that article as False. Use the same false icon they use and everything.

notice how they had a writer from the Atlanta paper chime in on this one. They bought into Cain's strawman argument.

Herman Cain wrote in August 2005:

“Coverage of the Bush economy reads like a collection of Democratic Party press releases, calling a strong economy everything from struggling to volatile or dicey. That kind of ignorance makes homeowners fear that their most expensive possession could turn worthless overnight. That won’t happen.”

PolitiFact claims:

Paul said he’d produce proof, but neither he nor his supporters have done so.

His supporters have produced the proof almost two weeks (http://www.dailypaul.com/182507/herman-cain-labels-people-calling-the-housing-bubble-ignorant-source-right-here) before PolitiFact published their article.

This is how we rate PolitiFact's statement:

Polifact shows themselves to be ignorant about Ron Paul's contention

Correction: They showed that when it comes to Paul's contention, they don't know what they're talking about because they don't know enough about it.

In Politifact's terms, that does not mean their "ignorant".
