On Monday alone, the campaign signed up more than 21,000 new donors, said Jesse Benton, a campaign spokesman.

What this really means is that in one of the next big days we can duplicate 4 million and do possibly 5 million even!

Relatively few of these 21k people will have maxed out, so there is a fresh generation of donors now available, and they can get emails from the campaign. This is a real relief. Not that we can rest on our laurels or anything, but there are at least some replacements for those of us who have maxed out one way or another.
