I think the Black This Out movement was so far one of the best ideas we've come up with so far.

And while it didn't do as well as we hoped, I think the concept shouldn't die. We can really take this further.

My proposal is to "Black THEM Out" - an idea that we can easily take to Occupy Wall Street, and our own creative work.

The media has blacked out Ron Paul, and we can "black out" anyone that's acting as an establishment figure that stands for the status quo. This includes billboards, signs that you see (think Duct Tape), and when going to events.

iRoots.org has some pretty good examples of what we can do: http://iroots.org/2011/10/19/culture-jamming-for-black-this-out-101911/

We can pair it with END THE FED (an idea that's truly becoming mainstream)

This appears to be advocating for vandalism and will be treated as such. Not a good idea to associate that with the movement.

lol, but point taken. I own the iroots.org website and certainly didn't mean to advocate vandalism... All those photos simply show holding up a black strip of paper and taking a photo.

I agree that the Black This Out idea was very good---we do need a way, in the future, to identify ourselves as leading the way - not just complaining about how we are treated.
It's a tricky marketing thing to figure out...keep brain storming.
