The man is on his thrid marriage, and was leading the charge in Clinton's impeachment over (lying about) sex, while carrying on an extra-marital affair himself. After the 1998 midterms, when the GOP just barely held onto a majority they should have been expanding, something like seven members of the GOP caucus (the difference in the size of the caucuses after the election) came out and said if Gingrich was put up by the GOP caucus as their nominee for House, they would vote with the Democrats.

And that ain't the half of it.
