The ronpaulgraphs site and others are inaccurate.

We started at $2,779,043 at 12:00 AM EST on November 5th 2007.

We ended at (corrected) $7,111,655 at 11:59 PM EST on November 5th 2007.

That's $4,332,612.

Edit: Apparently there was $326,000+ in offline donations added by the campaign that account for the difference from the graphs sites?

no screenshot but I was counting down the seconds to see if we could hit 7.1mil before 12Eastern and with 19 seconds left BAM!

Now the interesting thing will be to see how much keeps rolling in.

We still have that potential processing backlog, as well as late donors out on the west coast :)

Maybe the extra won't fit into the neat 1-day record package, but it sure will be nice.

I'd like another one of these events on December 16th. Imagine getting Ron 18 million for Q4.

TOo bad all of the news stories so far are saying $3M or $3.8M.

Unbelievable.

I've noticed that the widget is updating at almost exactly 1,000 a minute.

Hate to be a wet blanket, because we did amazing, but RonPaulGraphs (which excludes the offline that the campaign dumped in) is showing 3,999,56?.?? raised yesterday. Less than $500 short of the 4 million. It will be interesting to see what number the campaign releases, because that would include any processing backlog.

There were 300,000something in offline donations added right after midnight yesterday. The graphs don't count that.

subtract 326K or so due to offline donations added by the campaign early on

I think leaving the offline donations out is truer to RP's habit of understatement.

It's still great, and we're still over $7 million!

HURRAY!

RE: $3,999,560

Good, that will inspire us to donate more next time :)

Then we get two bites at the apple--just like we did with the 3Q numbers, remember?

We just did in one day what the campaign aimed for in a month. Congrats guys! (But don't get lazy now!)

The money is still coming in. The West Coast is still going strong. Can we get another 700k before 12AM PST?

Think about the significance of this day. We raised almost one million short of what Ron Paul took in the entire 3rd quarter.

That number is inaccurate, the actual number is around $3.99 million or $4 million

We have screenshots from midnight and from 11:59 PM. Can someone explain how we know that there were $326,000 in offline donations added by the official campaign and why the ronpaulgraphs website is correct?

Does the Ron Paul graphs website have access to some kind of subsystem other than the widget that only counts online transactions? I assumed the ronpaulgraphs website is just doing screen scraping and pulling the number out of the widget.

Thanks,
