it's great! :)

Dad - Where are all those people that revere the constitution? (re. Naomi Wolf's arrest)

Me: You're witnessing the final nail in America's coffin - the people have been effectively divided and conquered, given two teams and trained to root for theirs: blind to the fact that both are corrupt and manipulative to the core.

The millionaire president and the millionaires in congress watch their work from a distance, proud to have guided the people's anger against one another and away from where it belongs.

Sad really, but all according to plan. The American people actually believe there are two parties, one representing "The Right" and one "The Left." They throw out one in exchange for another, never satisfied with either, never realizing they are both the same.

So your dad is a Naomi Wolf fan and he is wondering where the Ron Paul type libertarians are in defending her or what? I'm not quite sure what he was insinuating.

i think he's insinuating that constitution waving conservatives should be defending the rights of protestors to freely assemble...?

anyway- he's actually just trying to goad me and box me in - it's too difficult to comprehend someone who is not a "liberal" and not a "conservative" so if he can get me to attack the OWS he'll feel relieved to know his enemy and the world will make sense again.

We have bigger fish to fry.

I don't know.
My first instinct is to say that the bigger fish are the next generation.
I find it easy to appeal to them. Many of them respond positively to adults who say things like "The other adults are full of shit... you know it, and as an adult, I'm telling you you're right."

On the other hand, the youth of America aren't going to be the ones who end up bankrupting us in the first place... the youth are the way out, but they can't do anything until all the older generation dies. The older generations are much larger numerically.

Maybe a two-pronged big fish: youth plus immigrants? There's more than one reason why I think hard stances against illegal immigration are mistaken... they have the potential to help us put the previous generation out of power.

We have bigger fish to fry.

Who? Where?
The Federal Reserve,IMF and World Bank are the root problem. They are the problem with politics,, the wars, and the economy.

What are the bigger fish?

BOOM. You got it man.

Here in Canada...The immigrants are the LARGEST voting population who are trying to UPHOLD CANADIAN TRADITION.

I shit you not.

A lot of the socialists are homegrown Canadians (and some Latins)...but the ones primarily voting for low taxes, freer markets and Canadian tradition are ASIANS and INDIANS (and there are A LOT of them).

It's prety cool actually.

Can I move there?

Actually I am thinking of moving to Montana so I can slip across the border if I need to.

Don`t get me wrong, there`s a lot of stupid nonsense here - socialized health care is entrenched here so thouroughly that health care ``unions`` etc go on a rampage when you breathe a single word of CUT...oh and call you evil. lol.

But we have a massive immigrant population who come here and their attitude (GENERALLY) is `I just left a big government country - why the hell would I come to a freer nation and vote for more big government`.

Well fuck me, as an older person, I hate to think that the only solution is for me and everybody else in my age bracket to fuck off and hurry up dieing.

And immigration from where is going to help?

Mexico?

Yeah, they have a real tradition of solid liberty positions.

Aw, come on man, I'm not throwing stones... I'm speaking in aggregates here. I think it's well known that a lot of youth are in this movement. And while I did go to a GWAR show last night, it fuckin' hurts today, so I'm not exactly a college kid myself.
I'm mainly thinking of people like my father-in-law - a guy who negotiated nuclear arms treaties with the soviets and is 100% convinced that that is still the world we live in. He is simply not going to budge on the Department of Energy, because they are the ones who loan nuclear materials to the armed forces (as if that makes any fucking sense to begin with).

Older folks represent a much higher voting population and will continue to be a higher percentage until they die. How many people your age do you think we can convince? If it's a significant percentage, then I'm mistaken. I have examples like my father, a former pilot, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why the USCG let him anywhere near aircraft because he can't even understand graphical file management.

Mexico may not have a good liberty tradition - and India sure doesn't either - but what they do have is a fuck-you attitude. "I ain't gonna live in this shithole anymore, and I'm leaving." It's something we can work with.

Couple years ago an Indian cube neighbor caught me looking at guns online, and was visibly terrified to find out I owned guns. Once I explained things, he at least calmed down. Of course, part of my explanation was pretty harsh: "Dude, see him, and him, and him, and him, and her, and him? They own guns too. Everyone in America owns guns."

Stuff like that makes a difference. They know that the way they did things back home was bullshit, or they wouldn't be here. And if we offer them examples of why it was bullshit, I think they get where we are a lot of the time.

There was a guy primarying for state senate here named Tito Munoz from Columbia. He wasn't exactly a liberty candidate but he got a good part of the philosophy down. He sure as hell wasn't your average watered-down Republican.

Heh heh heh, you, like, totally, rock, dude.

I understand your points, even if I might not fully agree.

Rest yer head now...LoL

You see the purification process has begun... nature is separating the liberty loving organic free rangers from the loyal accommodating pen dwellers without any concerns for man made right/left classifications...so says Carl ********...what we have is right/left separatist vs. right/left loyalist

The biggest fish to fry is to open up the mundanes eyes...unless you want the remnant to simply sift through the ashes picking up a small fragment here and there...
