Congressman Paul,

I am truly sorry. I am sorry that your message of freedom, hope, and restoring the constitution has caught on like fire. I am sorry that thousands donated on November 5th breaking many donation records. I am sorry that you likely have more cash on hand now then any other republican candidate. Why am I sorry about these things you ask? Well now your campaign is going to be top tier, you will have so many more things to do. You are going to be busy making new radio and tv spots. Your going to have to travel all around the country continuing this revolution. Most of all though I am sorry that you will not be able to retire after your long service to this country. No, you wont get to just relax at home as you will soon be living in the White House and leading our great nation. Again Dr. Paul I am sorry that you are the right person at the right time. I thank you for this sacrifice.

I get what you're saying. It's a bit like when Sam was given the ring in Lord of the Rings.

We're sorry Mr. Paul, but there is no one else we trust with the power.

We thank you immeasurably for your sacrifice Mr. Paul !

HOLY CRAP! I always knew the political parallels in that book but never made the connection to Ron Paul. This explains so much of his broad appeal...he has proven trustworthy with power.
