They don't collectively support anyone, as they are individuals who mostly share a common goal. They are as split as the traditional GOP base. Cain has a lot of support, so does Paul, Perry, and Bachmann.

Perry is pretty hard to understand too, he is a liberal.

Hopefully this new plan will pick up some major new Tea Party support.

There are different factions of the Tea Party now. There's Tea Party Express, Tea Party Nation and who knows what else. Each one has so called "spokespeople" who try to convince the "followers" what candidate to back. For example, Tea Party Express has been running TV ads for Rick Perry in my area of PA.
