Thoughtful comments might be helpful but please don't pick a fight. I sense that even if Ron isn't getting a fair shake, his economic plan is (except for the foreign part, natch), at least on the conservative side.

I think Ron's plan is a good place to win over a lot of people who just wouldn't listen before. Once you get into the numbers of it, foreign policy implications are unescapable.

Ed is an idiot. He really is.

It’s simply not a serious plan at all. Not only does it have no chance of passing any Congress in its current form, there isn’t enough intellectual support for any of its components to pass, either. The whole plan feels like something cooked up over a dinner with a few budget reports and a red pen, in a desperate attempt to stay relevant in this presidential contest. It’s as unserious as an Occupy Wall Street protest.

He's only human and he needs to be loved. Just like everybody else does.

He has always despised Ron Paul and been so condescending and smug. I just wish he could have hidden his bias a bit better.

From the article,

He’s not kidding, either. Paul’s budget draws a red line through five departments: Energy, HUD, Commerce, Interior, and Education. According to Paul’s projections, eliminating these five departments will save the U.S. just over $700 billion in the four years of his proposed presidency. Along with other deep cuts in government spending, Paul’s plan would reverse six years of spending growth and would result in a fiscal 2016 budget of just over $3 trillion and a surplus of $19 billion.

Hell no he's not kidding! All you media shills on the East Coast need to hear what the rest of the country is saying.

We Are Sick And Tired of You Idiots Picking Our President!

Sure it works out nice for you... the richest people in the world, but it sucks for us... and we're not going to take it anymore. We are going to quit sending Washington D.C. $Trillions of dollars each year so that you can enslave us in debt, bomb whoever & whatever your bosses want killed or destroyed and feel up our daughters and wives at the airport whenever you want.

Same here I thought it was the former front man from the Smiths at first. Who's political beliefs I despise but music I love.

This article is horse shit.

By the way, airport security was privatized just 10 years ago. Our neighbors to the north in Canada have privatized air traffic control.

Morrissey from The Smiths? Or is this someone else?

It'd be a real bummer if Morrissey turned out to be a socialist jerk. I love his music, but he should mind his own bid'ness and maybe try to put his doubtless razor-sharp economic acumen (/sarc) to work pulling his own country out of the s***-tank of debt before he starts doling out advice to us.

I'm pretty sure he is. But meh, musicians in general tend to be on the collectivist side of things.

It's establishment handmaiden Ed Morrissey from neoclown central HotAir. The dude is clueless about economics, and really should stick to leading Christians astray by shilling for the American Empire's glorious, never-ending Islamic theocracy-building wars, torture, central planning, and NWO globalism, since he's been wildly successful doing that.
