Today, Dr. Paul's online campaign contributions moved him to the number one slot for one-day gains, and number three slot for all time single-day gains, behind Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama, both Democrats. His campaign is hoping to raise $12 million by the end of December. So far the campaign has raised $6.8 million since October 1, with over $5 million raised between June 1 and September 30. His supporters seem to have mustered the men and women into service on this November 5th, honoring Guy Fawkes in a most peculiar way. It will be interesting to watch the campaign over the next few weeks to see if this sudden financial windfall continues, or if Ron Paul is a one-day wonder.

They can try to spin all they want... it will be futile.

We've shook the political foundation of America today. This event is a game changer. We have completely taken the election out of the media's hands and put it back into the people's hands.

They can no longer underestimate us. Money IS politics.

We did it. Ron Paul is a top tier candidate.

Now they're going to FIGHT us.

the fact that RP has more money in the bank will probably motivate some skeptical potential donors to go ahead and support RP. they'll feel more confident about it. so the whole "one-day wonder" thing is baloney.

Oh, come on, you're just a little tired.
:)

You should be dancing at the fact that the article conclusively agrees with us:

It appears the Ron Paul movement has some substance to it and, if true, can no longer be denied. After all, a group of clever hackers cannot pull money out of thin air and deposit into a presidential campaign fund. Especially not $3.8 million in one day.

Well, it's true. We need to meet or exceed our 12 million 4th quarter number still. That's what the campaign told us they need in order to have the best shot at us winning, and that's the goal that has gone out to the media.

We will I think, but it's going to take continued hard work expanding our donor base. The same 3% can't do that alone, and we shouldn't.

Absolutely agree. There is something none of these idiots can deny however, this is pure grassroots patriotism. No phony lobbyists, political action committees, or the warchest of the Republicans or Democrats. This is pure, undeniable, and a swift kick in the ass for all of those phony politicians in Washington.

We refuse to let another politician sit in the White House chair. We want a damm statesman with the integrity, intelligence, and sincerity! We have spoken not only for ourselves but the future of this great nation.

Today, we made the world notice us. Tommorow, we'll be prepared to fight them.

Yeah, but this momentum has to be kept up, because otherwise the "one-day wonder" moniker will creep up.

We just raised $4 million, but for the simple fact that we did it, we're going to get about $20 million in media coverage of this event.

Haha, We can just laugh in their faces as we sail to the white house. We have the support and it's growing. 7 million + to spend in the early primary states and we aren't done yet!

You left out the good part of the article -

"It appears the Ron Paul movement has some substance to it and, if true, can no longer be denied. After all, a group of clever hackers cannot pull money out of thin air and deposit into a presidential campaign fund. Especially not $3.8 million in one day. According to the Ron Paul campaign, more than 35,000 separate donations have been received as of 10:00 ET, an average of $108.57 per doner."

We got thousands of new donors today and few of them will have maxed out. I hope they stay motivated to keep donating.

They can try to spin it however they want, but the media knows they can't halt Dr. Paul's march.

We as supporters need to make our presence more visible than before, and how the general population that this candidate is viable and has real chances.
