Has anyone considered the possibility that Obama will choose not to run, or maybe be forced out, and Hillary will be the Democratic candidate? If Obama goes down in flames he's going to take a lot of congressmen with him. If there's no economic recovery in sight come January and if the man is still tanking come the end of January - what if?

I think they've conceded behind closed doors that he's no longer electable, but they also want to make sure they don't lose anymore senate seats.
