This was a brilliant idea to begin with and it has been very powerful. We need to keep using it!
Here's why:
1. Gets people's attention and evokes a STRONG emotional response.
2. Prompts people to ask questions, giving us opportunities to educate pepole about Ron Paul! (This is HUGE.) When we take the initiative, others quite often just hear: "Blah blah blah, RON PAUL..." BUT, when people ask questions, they're more likely to listen and process what we are saying - because they actually wanted to know something from you in the first place. They also won't automatically be on the defensive.
3. Helps us show our true numbers. The more black bars we see all over the place, the more confident we will be that we are not alone.
4. Continuously calls out the MSM for what they are doing/raises awareness of bias in the media!
We - as a people, as a movement - MUST BE VISIBLE! We cannot let the mainstream media's negativity towars Ron Paul and the resulting rhetoric (being parroted by the mis-informed republican base) - shame us into hiding. There are many ways to accomplish this, but I think this viral marketing idea has still only hit a small fraction of its true potential.
Keep blacking yourself out!
