11% nice. Cain is hurting us big time. It's time to go after Cain

Not too bad, of course, RCP will use the one with the low numbers...

Our biggest long-term threat is Romney.

Perry is done, and last night's debate showed him grabbing at straws and looking weak. Bachmann is done - she's trying to stay relevant but nobody's listening. Cain has been blown up like a Keynesian bubble but bumbled incoherent crap for most of yesterday's debate. Gingrich is the slickest of the slick, and he might rise some, but he should be too easy to bring back down to Earth.

So yes, Romney is our key competitor.

Right in line with the RCP numbers, and it makes sense. I'm more interested in poll numbers from October 19th on. I really think Perry was awful last night.

That's funny, because according to the Communist News Network (CNN) post debate talk, Statler and Waldorf thought Perry hit this debate out of the park compared to his other performances. I agree with you, but John Q. Public I think will tend to let some commentator assess debate performances for them.

Let's wait to see polls post-debate.

After all he needs to win GOP primary voters.

I agree. The nomination will go to Paul or Romney. Cain and Perry will sink, they don't have what it takes and it's showing in all the stumbing and bumbling. Ron is rising above all of the bickering and BS. He comes off as presidential now. It's our job to help Ron beat Romney.

Pretty sure voters are done with Cain after figuring out 9-9-9 raises taxes. Perry is hopeless. It looks like us and Romney.

Yeah, I predict very different poll numbers in a few weeks.

Be careful with Gingrich though, he polls as high as Paul now at RCP.

Yep, FOX will pump the shit out of him. I predict in a few weeks, Fox will have Gingrich walking on water.

Perry is hurting us, too. :D Maybe all of them. :D

Has anyone notice that Gingrich, like a tortoise, is slowly and steadily climbing?

that 'leaning' category is an issue If you asked a 'cross party voter' for Ron if they 'leaned Republican' they might say no, because they agree with things most of the GOP candidates don't agree with Ron on. If they asked 'will you vote in the GOP primary for president' that might get a very different group.
