Leaving aside the intricacies of the whole "kiddie porn" issue, posted simply as a comment on how even a disgraced, convicted cop gets preferential treatment in the system.


Ex-Selma Cop gets 6 years in prison for child porn

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A former Selma Police officer will serve more than six years in prison for receiving child pornography.

Federal agents arrested Angel Landin last October at the Selma Police Department.

Agents said they found videos and pictures of children involved in sexual activity on Landin's home computer.

They say he admitted to seeking out images of incest, especially involving fathers and daughters.

A judge could've sentenced Landin to as much as 20 years in prison, but cited Landin's service as a police officer as one reason for the shorter sentence.

It's all about 'the service.' It comes down to this BS statement in every sentencing I have read. F*ck I grow increasingly tired of it.

Well we have to face the facts that LEO's are in 'the service' to protect the Bankster--the same Banksters that pays that Judges salary too. :mad:
