If there were a thousand people will guns strapped to their hips, no one would touch them. I think you would need a permit...and who knows how many people would freak out, but it might be an interesting idea.

NYC is VERY restrictive on gun rights. I also don't think it would be productive to make such a statement there. In fact, I think it would alienate people. It's moot, though, unless someone wants to fight that battle in NYC, at OWS.

Haha, carry guns legally in NYC while not being a politician/millionaire, good one.

Ohhh, ohh, Jesus...still laughing.

Seriously though, you walk around with squirt gun in NYC and you're liable to be arrested, or shot, or more likely, both.

Article VI

Amendment II
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

28 USC 453
Each justice or judge of the United States shall take the following oath or affirmation before performing the duties of his office: "I, ___ XXX, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as ___ under the Constitution and laws of the United States.

So help me God.

The answer is, yes. If you're willing to fight for it.

If RP does not get into the Whitehouse, then we must, as a coalition, take this fight w/ all our Patriots and the various skills they posses, and rid this country of infection. That should be the battle plan, if the corruption does not create an impasse perhaps the blood of tyrants and patriots will not be required.

Open carry a neon colored squirtgun! Though I do agree with a battle for your rights in court, and calling out all the cowards who swore an oath to the Constitution, and infringe upon it.

Czolgosz has some great information to defend yourself. Not saying it's gonna go well, but if you have the muster, I'd send you some money for a legal defense (but not much, I'm kinda poor)

You even mention open-carry in NYC, you'll probably get shot by a Mafia goon aka cop.

NYC is very much like California, anti-gun, high standard of living, expensive, socialist-run.

More guns in that environment would certainly only lead to a disaster.

The US Constitution and the 2nd Amendment do not apply in NYC.

The spineless corrupt US Supreme Court Justices are squarely to blame.

It is unfuckingbelievable that government bureaucrats have the authority to determine whether or not my life is worth defending.

They are committed to a Non Violent protest. They are willing to let the government use violence,, and expect it.
There are constant reminders to remain peaceful.

Well if you want to spend 24 months in jail I think automatically, by all means. I mean Plaxico Burress shot himself accidentally and I think he got 18 months.

Yeh, there's a 3 yr mandatory minimum for 'illegal' possesion, Prodigy of Mobb Deep got pinched too and did time. Unless ur a banker, a bureaucrat or sean hannity, ur pretty much out of luck if u want a gun permit.
