Find your local GOP organization - start by finding your state party web site and looking for the "local" page.

Figure out when their next meeting is. Get on their email list. Go to the next meeting and every event you can from now on. Talk to people and get to know their names. Volunteer for things when you can.

(Do NOT hide that you are a Ron Paul supporter, but remember that as a supporter you are representing Ron Paul in the mind of the person you are talking to. The concept of liberty and government being mortal enemies takes a while for people to understand and get used to, so don't jump into the "crazy" ideas until you know that the person has enough understanding of economics, monetary policy, etc. that they can process what you are talking about effectively.)

Getting involved NOW is an important step in becoming a strong voice for Ron Paul in the place where it matters most: inside the Republican machine. It's not always the most exciting place to be, and it can be maddening to be around people who are happily destroying their country while wearing a sweatshirt covered in stars and stripes, but it is probably the most important thing you can do if you want Ron Paul to win.
