Maybe they were. I'm sure that closing accounts in mass also causes a disturbance to the banks.

hmm...interesting customer service now by Citibank. Provided the protesters weren't being violent this is ridiculous. I would be incredibly angry if they refused to allow closure of my account. And it shouldn't matter how many of their friends they were able to bring along, imo, if they are customers and dissatisfied then refusing to allow them their property(cash) is way wrong. The whole group echo thing in the second video is an obnoxious group think mentality I don't think I will ever get used to no matter how many videos they do it in.

Citibank said that only one person actually asked to close an account, and that person was accommodated.

I hate everybody on every side of that encounter. I hate the Marxist protesters, I hate the government thugs, and I hate the bankers that successfully lobbied for our money. Where's a nuclear explosion when we need one?
