Let me know what you guys think. I will be touching up with gradients and probably a blacked-out bernanke face in the background.

1000 cards for $39, like usual.

Needs more.

Social Security recipients' money is worth less now because of artificial inflation.
They have robbed the American People's wealth through inflation and printing money from thin air, not earning it.
Bankers or politicians should never be allowed to print money whenever they want.
Inflation is a hidden tax on the American People.
Other countries are depressed due to our printing of money from thin air.

hardly anyone understands the term "fiat currency."

would simplify.

Could just say "the largest bank and greatest money manipulator in the history of the world." or "the largest bank and best money counterfeiter in the history of the world."

Love the card, and it's simplicity. One thing I'd add to the below paragraph after "history of the world." Perhaps say, "Source of the widening wealth gap."

Awesome idea! Just need to fine tune the information on the back. Maybe a picture of Bernanke and Greenspan. Have to explain why is hurts the elderly and the poor the most. Have connect the inflation to food and gas prices.

Big corporations get the printed money first and buy everything before inflation hits the rest of us!

Yes, it definitely needs to point out that inflation is a hidden tax.

Wow, what a great idea!

How about putting the definition of corporatism on the back of the card and as Teacherone said, maybe the definition of fiat currency.

fiat == counterfeit money
corporatism == government and corporate doing 69er

Great suggestions everyone. Thanks!

I am of the school of thought that less is more. Especially when it comes to government and design.

Here are my revisions concerning everyone's suggestions as much as possible, without allowing it to get cluttered.

Justin, I'd keep the "Unemployment" line depending on the audience...

I guess if people are employed the lines you chose would mean more but those who are unemployed...(and if one has free-time to camp out in a park for weeks on end I'm guessing they don't have a job) the unemployment line might be better. ;)

Regarding the aesthetics, I like the font choice in the first post. The all caps seems overwhelming. Catch their eye with the above and provide a small amount of additional information below.

Here is the Federal Reserve's Mission Statement.

Today, the Federal Reserve's duties fall into four general areas:
-conducting the nation's monetary policy by influencing the monetary and credit conditions in the economy in pursuit of maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates
-supervising and regulating banking institutions to ensure the safety and soundness of the nation's banking and financial system and to protect the credit rights of consumers
-maintaining the stability of the financial system and containing systemic risk that may arise in financial markets
-providing financial services to depository institutions, the U.S. government, and foreign official institutions, including playing a major role in operating the nation's payments system

^ They are awful at everything that is their "Mission" Statement. :)

You could eliminate "Bank Bailouts" for "Unemployment" because for the most part Corporate Welfare covers the bailouts. Also, some of the more clever ones know that King Obama supported TARP. I had one supposed socialist tell me: "it was a loan with interest, we're making money off it longterm."

Simply perfect! Just right!

Just some terms that impact me. Wanted to add them last minute: I like the term via Ayn Rand: corporate/government collusion 'these are the original collectivists' or: pseudo-capitalism; tainted capitalism; eliminate the ruling class of central planners; exploited markets.

Thanks

These are just ideas. If you printed what you have now, they would be amazing, so I'm not trying to be critical.

I agree with keeping Unemployment on there. Lots of people are unemployed. That's evident with the number of donations to RP's campaign who listed none or unemployed etc.

I think you could get rid of "the greatest manipulator of money in the history of the world" I'm not sure it's succinct enough to really make a meaningful point that would make sense to the reader.

I'd also consider saying, "These are all products of the PRIVATE Federal Reserve Bank which is above the oversight of Congress " Something like that. Let them look into this more. People think the Federal reserve is a govt agency...

Once again, great job!! +rep

These are great! I like the revision, but I like in the original when you had the Federal Reserve as a bank. I think that's important for the OWS people to know. "The largest bank and greatest manipulator of paper money in the world." or whatever.

Federal Reserve sounds like government. OWS is largely pro-government intervention. So OWS might take this flyer as anti-government which they would immediately dismiss, whereas if it points them out as the largest bank, it falls more in line with their bank rage and would be more likely to pique their interest.

The Feds job is also to control unemployment/employment/jobs. I'm not sure if that could fit on there, but that's also huge for the OWS people.

"The Federal Reserve System - The largest bank in the world is also the greatest manipulator of money, markets, and jobs in History."

"All Products of the Federal Reserve - The world's largest banking cartel and the greatest destroyer of jobs, markets, and money in History."

Anyway, just some suggestions. I really like them! Nicely done!

Well, that's not what fiat means, even in a joking extreme sense. Fiat means something that only has value because the government says so, hence it is backed by the "credibility" of the government (instead of real value, like precious metals).
I don think a simple card like this should get into all things "fiat" - it's kinda step 2 in the education process.

Also, I don't know if the Obama drug trafficking ring is going to go over well, too much explanation needed. Warmonger & Banker's Best Friend are more relevant titles for this purpose.

I Love this.

I have a few minor suggestions.

I'd consider changing "Corporate Welfare" to "Corporate Bailouts."

I'd change "High Unemployment" to "Lower wages".

In the long term, The Fed wants as many people working as many hours as possible... they just want them to work for less wages. They are partly accomplishing this by favoring a few large corporations in order to eliminate competition in the labor market as other companies are driven out of business.

I'd replace "All made possible by" to "Brought to you by"
