I know that he believes lobbying is protected by the Constitution and that the way to curb abuse by politicians is to defund congress by stopping the printing press. This is fine for legislation the requires funding from the state but what about companies that lobby for laws that give them an edge competitively yet does not increase spending?

Decentralize power.

Veto any new regulations, repeal existing ones? It's pretty straight forward really.

Admitting something exists and mentioning it is always a great start.

Limiting congress to its expressly authorized Constitutional powers would do away with most of it.

If political leaders do not have the power to grant favors, corporations will no longer pay the money to get them. You kill two birds with one stone by limiting government to the enumerated powers.

As long as politicians can be bought, we will not see a decentralization of power though.

Lobbying and outright bribery and blackmail are quite different things.

You can keep legitimate lobbying while working to curb or eliminate corruption.

I would expect that Corporate Law could also be addressed to eliminate some of the corruption.

How will Ron Paul end corporatism?

"The price of freedom in eternal vigilance." Corporatism, fascism, socialism, communism, and most every other "ism" that would rule with force must be fought for all time. They will never end and your guard should never be let down. Even if the federal government is just watching ports and settling interstate issues, we'll have to watch them closely.
