Some good points. But Adam,, if you are listening, Adbusters did NOT start this.
They joined, They were invited to join (they had a social network to motivate "bodies") and I think they their involvement has been a huge mistake.

The original focus and push was against the Federal Reserve and financial elite. You are an "investigative" reporter,,Correct?
This started with OpESR(and Anonymous) and with Ampedstatus . Adbusters was included because that had the troops.
Sadly, I think the inclusion of Adbusters was a huge mistake, and will likely play into the hands of the very Elite that were the target in the first place.
I had hoped to get some folks involved and drown out the voice of the idiots,, but that is looking unlikely.

Divide and conquer. business as usual.
:(

Warnings of possible chaos are growing as Day of Rage activists - some reportedly linked to Obama - prepare to “occupy Wall Street and beyond on Sept. 17.

Organizers, meanwhile, are calling the scheme a peaceful “leaderless resistance movement.” But the precise roots and origin of the efforts still remain somewhat of a mystery.

Several sources said the first call to arms came in mid-July in the magazine AdBusters, which describes itself as “anti-consumerist.” The idea quickly picked up steam. And numerous organizations have since popped up to support the effort.

“Alright you redeemers, rebels, radicals and utopian dreamers out there, we are living through a rare crisis and moment of opportunity,” noted a message (http://www.adbusters.org/blogs/adbusters-blog/occupywallstreet.html), signed “Culture Jammers HQ,” posted on the magazine’s website. “A worldwide shift in revolutionary tactics is underway right now that bodes well for the future.”

According to the statement, demonstrators would be zeroing in on one specific demand to “propel us toward the radical democracy of the future.” The “flood” of activists in New York, the message said, would then “incessantly repeat our one simple demand until Barack Obama capitulates.”

Great video!

As far as OWS is concerned, there have been tiffs going on with these people and Ron Paul/End The Fed supporters reported all over the nation. They have rigorously and venomously told Ron Paul supporters they are not welcomed to join.

I don't agree with wearing any Ron Paul paraphernalia gear at these events, just like I would be offended if I saw Obama gear. I think that the guy behaved poorly in the clip, but he's right in theory.

Several sources are wrong.

OpESR was in March. And was in planing before that,
David Degraw (AmpedStatus)was writing and calling for this in 2010.

Adbusters got involved in the "Anonymous, the Plan". The site was requiring identification (ie: Not Anonymous)
I had questions about that from the start.

However, I do agree with the END the Fed, sentiments of the originators.

It is entirely possible that the hardcore Marxist infiltration was planed to negate any real progress.

I would encourage people to wear their Obama paraphernalia, at least, I would know where they might be coming from, so this way I may have a chance to talk to them and explain to them what Ron Paul is all about.

The whole crux of Wall Street issues stems from the fact that the private Federal Reserve has co-opted this country!
